Anderson was signed at the age of 13, to an agency based in Atlanta. There, she auditioned, worked and took numerous workshops and classes.
In 2016, Glennellen moved to sunny Los Angeles in continued pursuit of her career in film and television, as well as music and stage production.
She is best known for her recurring role as Nicole on the hit Netflix series, STRANGER THINGS, as well as Brooke on AwesomenessTV's go90 series, VERSUS, starring Brandon Larracuente (13 Reasons Why), Camille Hyde (American Vandal) and Maddie McCormick (Shameless). The red-headed scene stealer landed a role on NBC's TIMELESS, guest starring as a young 1919 suffragette named Jane in the second season’s most popular episode, “Mrs. Sherlock Holmes.” She also made a guest star appearance on FOX’s 9-1-1 as Joanna Hickey, a survivor of the tragic tsunami in the show’s third season.
Glennellen can be seen as the leading role of the beloved role of Mary Lennox, in the new Steampunk adaptation of the iconic classic tale, THE SECRET GARDEN, by Frances Hodgson Burnett. The film won several awards at FilmQuest, including Best Ensemble Cast and Best Wardrobe, and is available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video. In summer 2018, Anderson starred alongside Annie LeBlanc and Addison Reicke in BRAT’s original YouTube series, A GIRL NAMED JO, as cheerleader and glee club leader Linda. She sang in the season one finale, marking her first onscreen booking that merged with her music career.
She is currently set to appear in the upcoming HULU film remake, LESS THAN ZERO. Based on the hit 80’s film starring Robert Downy Jr., James Spader and Andrew McCarthy, Anderson is set to play the role of Mare, an 80s Roxy girl with style and a sneaky agenda. It is set to release in 2022.
Her other credits include the lead role of Celia Hamilton in the third installment of the Mandie Movies, MANDIE AND THE FORGOTTEN CHRISTMAS, which aired on ION Television for 5 years. She is featured on the film’s soundtrack and end credits, singing her original song that she wrote for the franchise, “Not Forgotten.” She makes a cameo appearance in the Netflix teen comedy, PREMATURE, alongside Alan Tudyk, Craig Roberts, and John Karna. She also booked a guest star role in a FOX pilot called THIN ICE, starring Ian Harding and Bridget Mendler, which never aired.
Glennellen has booked national commercials for Best Buy, Disney, Facebook, Kotex, Bombas Socks, Dairy Management INC., and Select-Quote Insurance. She has become dearly loved by top casting directors, directors and producers along both the east coast and west coast, as well as producers and other artists in the music industry.
